BIG's role

BIG is a matchmaking intermediary

So everyone plays fair, it is worth being clear about what BIG is, and what BIG is not.

What BIG does

BIG is a matchmaking platform. Its role is to connect companies with independent sales reps, based on real experience and the BIG Score. BIG surfaces the relevant profiles, facilitates the first contact and gives both parties the information they need to decide.

What BIG is not

Not an employer

BIG does not employ the sales reps. There is no relationship of subordination between BIG and the experts on the platform. The rep stays independent, free to choose their missions and their organisation.

Not a party to the missions

The contractual relationship for each mission is established directly between the company and the independent sales rep. BIG is not a party to the service contracts concluded between users.

Not responsible for delivery

BIG does not run the missions and does not guarantee their outcome. Conducting the work, its content and its proper delivery are down to the company and the rep.

Not a staffing agency

BIG does not place or supply staff. It is a space for matchmaking, not a labour provider.

Who is responsible for what

The company defines its need, picks the profile and runs the mission with its own processes. The independent sales rep delivers the work, handles their invoicing and stays in control of their business. BIG, for its part, provides the platform that brings them together and updates the BIG Score from the ratings.
